The Language Institute is the largest, most innovative second-language training facility in Eastern Ontario. It provides second language training in ESL, FSL, Foreign Languages and Sign Language. Renowned for its 'hands-on' practical experience, the Language Institute also provides a post-diploma program in Teaching English as a Second/ Foreign Language where students can gain teaching experience in the classroom. What makes the Language Institute unique is the students' accessibility to the state-of-the-art Multimedia Lab that provides the most up-to-date software such as the CAN 8 virtual listening lab.
