L24 This advanced course (B2-level) has a focus on developing your speaking and writing skills. Writing a good letter, whether digitally or on paper, is of great importance especially in the businessworld. Your language skills affect your performance every day. If you already have a fair command of Dutch, people demand higher speaking and writing skills.

In this course you will discuss a variety of subjects, ranging from everyday topics to current events. In addition, you will address the principles of writing texts, minutes, reports, summaries and (job-application) letters. Spelling, punctuation and vocabulary will be dealt with separately.

As a student, you are expected to know the basic rules of Dutch grammar, especially those relating to sentence structure. More difficult areas of Dutch grammar are reviewed, studied in depth and practised as the need arises.

Common European Framework Level B2:
Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible. Can take an active part in discussion in familiar contexts, accounting for and sustaining my views. Can present clear, detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects related to my field of interest.
